"Educating the youth across our global community"
Palisia Z. Stallworth incorporated the UNS Foundation officially on January 1, 2006 while pursuing her academic career in the Howard University School of Business MBA Program. She went on to gain her MBA in May 2006 in Accounting. The foundation began as Project Uplifting Neighborhood Students while in her undergraduate years at Howard University in the School of Business as an Accounting major during the 2002-2003 academic year. Project UNS sent 20 tutors along with the Howard University Chess Team to a local elementary school Bruce Monroe Elementary School with Dr. Palacios residing as Principal. The tutors helped the elementary students during the after school program. Ms. Stallworth also tutored at a local high school the Maya Angelou Public Charter School in Washington, D.C. and saw the need to help students retain the necessary knowledge for success.
